Reitz & Jens performed a geotechnical investigation for Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay to provide subsurface information for design of improvements to an existing floodwall, new concrete floodwall, and levee embankment. The investigation included 30 land-based borings, 14 over-water borings, 24 Cone Penetrometer Test (CPT) soundings, and 33 vane shear and dissipation tests over approximately 7 miles of existing and new levee alignments.
