Levee Periodic Inspections – OK & KS

USACE – Tulsa District

Reitz & Jens was retained by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District to perform Periodic Inspections of (22) existing levee systems.  Reitz & Jens coordinated field inspections with the Tulsa District and levee system sponsors, developed a project plan, evaluated design criteria, conducted field inspections, prepared pre-inspection and periodic inspection reports, and conducted periodic inspection out-briefs for the Tulsa District Levee Safety Program Manager.  Levee features evaluated included levee embankments, floodwalls, pump stations, closure structures, relief wells, toe drains, ponding areas, improved channels, and gravity drains.
