MSD Awards RJ first PIRR Design Project

The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has selected Reitz & Jens to complete the Hartland to Gothland Sewer Separation project.  This 20 month project will require evaluation and design of improvements to separate the storm and sanitary flows in a 62 acre area with over 225 residences in St. Louis County, Missouri.  The project scope includes completing a Private Inflow/Infiltration Reduction Report (PIRR) for the entire watershed, modeling of existing and proposed flow conditions, evaluation of alternative management strategies, and development of complete plans and specifications for construction of the recommended improvements.
