The Great Rivers Greenway District awarded Reitz & Jens a second planning & preliminary engineering contract for the Meramec Greenway Trail. The Meramec Greenway is a biking and pedestrian trail that parallels the Meramec River through St. Louis County, Missouri. Reitz & Jens' first GRG project included planning and preliminary engineering to evaluate alternatives and recommend a preferred alignment along the Meramec from the 141 bridge in Valley Park through Castlewood State Park. The more recent award includes evaluation and recommendation of a trail alignment from Lemay Ferry Road (hwy 61/67) to Tesson Ferry Road (hwy 21).
