Water Resources - Summer Intern/Co-op

The summer intern position for 2010 will involve assisting other engineers in the evaluation, planning, design and drafting of water resources projects for various institutional clients throughout the St. Louis region.  Generally the projects will involve stormwater control and detention, floodplain analysis and wetland hydrology.  It can also include evaluation of stream geomorphology and design of open channel stablization and enhancement projects.

Potential applicants should be pursuing their civil engineering degree at either the undergraduate or graduate level with an emphasis in hydrology and hydraulics.  Prior experience in designing and drafting site improvements in AutoCAD is a plus but not absolutely necessary.  This opportunity can grow into a full time position upon graduation.
